The owners decided to hire another realtor (it happens) and under priced by $300k. On the day the home came on the MLS my Buyers submitted an offer along with another realtor's offer. We won the bid and bought the home for $1.715K. My Buyers saved $85K because the Sellers decided on a strategy of low pricing and one day market exposure.
Oh well, the listing agent can brag about how much over list and how fast they sold the home. Too bad it cost their seller money.
