The strategy involves drastically UNDER PRICING your home to try to get a bidding war going to get more than market value. We won the bid and bought the home for $1.715K.  My Buyers saved $85K because the Sellers decided on a strategy of low pricing and one day market exposure.
Oh well, the listing agent can brag about how much over list and how fast they sold the home. Too bad it cost their seller money.
